Advantage Computer Enterprises values certified technicians. Certification is the industry's method for ensuring that technicians have a certain level of knowledge. This certification process usually involves studying (either self-study or classroom) and then completing tests. Though this process can be expensive both financially and in terms of time, it does help ACE accomplish two objectives. First, it allows ACE to guarantee that its employees have the needed skills to perform their assigned jobs. Second, the customer is ensured that the work is performed by a trained technician. Many times the information necessary to complete a specific task is only available to the technicians certified at that level. Sometimes systems and networks can be set up by non-certified technicians. These systems or networks may appear to work quite well. Yet, many times there are fundamental problems with the initial installation which will be revealed when expansion of the network is attempted. By using certified technicians these type of problems are reduced.
